چکیده
Abstract Ischemic gastritis is a rare illness caused by localized or systemic vascular insufficiency. This condition rarely seen in medical practice due to the vast arterial collateral blood supply stomach through celiac trunk and superior mesenteric artery also because other etiologies are much more frequent. The classic presentation of chronic ischemia comprises triad postprandial pain, weight loss, abdominal bruit. Intervention indicated symptomatic patients endovascular treatment an alternative surgery with high comorbidity that offers good results. We report case 71-year-old female patient severe ischemic ulcers bleeding occlusion inferior critical stenosis artery. diagnosis was confirmed imaging, underwent treatment. difficult diagnose treat multidisciplinary team needed for proper management.

Acute Mesenteric Ischemia Caused by Rare Cardiac Tumor Embolus
Acute mesenteric ischemia (AMI) is a rare vascular emergency associated with a high mortality rate. The most common cause of AMI is cardiac emboli from thrombi associated with atrial fibrillation or following myocardial infarction. We present a case of AMI caused by a unique source of emboli, confirmed as an embolization of a cardiac sarcoma to the small bowel by matching biopsies obtained from...
متن کاملAcute and chronic mesenteric ischemia.
This article briefly reviews the various etiologies, presentation, and diagnosis of different types of mesenteric ischemia. Operative management techniques and the applicability of percutaneous endovascular intervention are discussed. Finally, the authors explore emerging technologies that have the potential to further improve diagnosis and treatment of this frequently lethal disease process.
متن کاملMesenteric ischemia: acute and chronic.
Acute mesenteric ischemia is a circulation-insufficiency event, occurring either suddenly or rapidly over a few weeks, that deprives one or several abdominal organs of adequate respiration to meet metabolic demands. Although mesenteric ischemia occurs infrequently, the mortality rate is from 60 to 100%, depending on the source of obstruction. The risk of atherosclerotic-related mesenteric occlu...

Chronic mesenteric ischemia (CMI) is a disease causing death either by starvation or enteromesenteric infarction. Diagnosis is often delayed before the patient is referred to a vascular surgery unit. Atherosclerosis is the main cause of CMI. Arteriography is essential in diagnosing CMI and delineating the atherosclerotic lesions. The revascularization procedure consists in an aortomesenteric by...

OBJECTIVES We sought to describe the outcomes of a consecutive series of patients with chronic mesenteric ischemia (CMI) who were treated with percutaneous stent revascularization. BACKGROUND Historically, the treatment for CMI has been surgical revascularization. However, surgery carries a significant procedural complication rate and mortality. METHODS Fifty-nine consecutive patients with ...
